Abstract

High dielectric constant and low loss characteristics of Barium Titanate make it as an excellent choice for many applications, particularly as capacitors, multilayer capacitors (MLCs) and energy storage devices. When Barium Titanate doped with oxides, give interesting properties. Ba1-xNixTiO3 where x = 0.0, 0.1 and Ba1Nb0.02Ti0.99O3 where x=0.0,x=0.02 were prepared by solid state reaction method and characterized by. X- ray diffraction and Scanning electron microscopic techniques. Results showed that nanosize materials were formed. Dielectric constant was determined at different temperature and frequency.
